Use PEPPM's audit policies to your advantage when buying technology products. You don't need to and should not simply rely on the word of a supplier that its offer to you is based on valid contract pricing.

While correct pricing can be ambiguous in other contracts, PEPPM users are assured of correct pricing from the get-go because of a three-step process that is used.

Step one - Since all orders are submitted to PEPPM for review and archival, PEPPM can determine that the quoted price provided by the awarded vendor or an authorized reseller is at or below the contract price.

Step two - PEPPM's terms and conditions require vendors to make their records available for review. We then hire a third-party audit firm to verify prices submitted for posting by vendors are at or below pricing defined by their bid price structure.

Step three - We check that invoices reflect bid pricing and other PEPPM terms and conditions such as no shipping charges for orders over $500 and sales taxes unless allowed.

If companies overcharge, they are required to reconcile the difference or risk losing their contract.
